The Inner West Disco Reggae Machine is a hand made sound system, custom built from the ground up by Sydney DJ’s Stevie Dub, Riksonic & Gonz. You may have felt the bass of the IWRDM rig resonating through the crowd at the annual Reggae Carnival Day at Fraser Park in Marrickville or the infamous Inner West Disco Reggae Machine Vs Foreign Dub dances at Goodgod Small Club. The rig has gained a huge following and reputation for some serious dances across Sydney, powering heavyweight international acts such as YT, Mad Professor & Irondubz.

The system consists of 6 scoops (bass bins) it’s current format took more than two years to complete : constructed by hand from Baltic Birch, the wall of sound known as the disco machine produces warm bass sounds that are both powerful & therapeutic. The IWRDM offers a curated soundsystem space - authentic reggae & dub selections from experienced selectors & a fully custom built soundsystem. The IWRDM sound system is not only the rig (amplifier and speakers) - it is the engineers that string up the system, the selectors that choose & play the records, the DJs who control the mic and the punters that bring the vibes to the dance. The experience is completely unique and the quality of sound is crucial.
